1. The Contract
These Terms apply to all orders (“Orders”) you place with Spick and Span Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service (“we”, “us”, “our”) through our website, mobile app, SMS, or any other platform. By placing an Order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not place an Order.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your Order applies. We will notify you of significant changes by email.
⚠️ Any Order with a value less than £20.00 will be charged at a minimum of £20.00.
2. Definitions
- Platform: Spick and Span Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service’s website, mobile app, SMS, or other ordering methods.
- Event Outside Our Control: Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, strikes, accidents).
- Item(s): Any garment or article collected from you in connection with an Order.
- Order: Your request for laundry, dry-cleaning, or ironing services.
- Services: Laundry, dry cleaning, ironing, and related services provided by us.
- You/Your: The customer placing the Order. “Writing” includes email.
3. Placing an Order
- Check your Order details carefully before submitting. We are not responsible for errors you make.
- Your Order is confirmed when we send you an email or SMS acceptance.
- Each Order will have a unique order number for reference.
- If we cannot fulfil your Order, we will inform you promptly.
4. Changes to Your Order
- You may request changes before the scheduled collection time by contacting us.
- Changes are subject to availability and our approval.
5. Cancelling or Rescheduling Your Order
- You may cancel your Order before the scheduled collection.
- Once Items have been collected, cancellation is no longer possible, except for Events Outside Our Control.
- Rescheduling within 2 hours of collection/delivery may incur additional charges.
6. Our Right to Cancel
We may cancel an Order if:
- An Event Outside Our Control prevents us from providing the Services.
- Items are not made available for collection.
- Items are unsuitable, damaged, hazardous, or not acceptable for cleaning.
If we cancel, we will notify you and return your Items at no charge.
7. Collection and Delivery
- We aim to collect and redeliver within your booked timeslot, but timing cannot be guaranteed.
- If you are unavailable, a £5 redelivery fee may apply.
- If Items remain uncollected after 30 days, they may be donated to charity.
- You may instruct us in writing to leave Items unattended; if you do, this is at your own risk.
8. Service Standards
We provide Services with reasonable care and skill. However, we are not responsible for:
- Items without care labels.
- Pre-existing damage or stains.
- Items with hazardous objects (coins, pens, jewellery, etc.).
- Delicate Items (e.g., silk, leather, cashmere, fur, velvet) submitted without prior warning.
9. Wash & Fold / Tumble Dry Orders
- Minimum chargeable weight: 6kg. Orders below this will be charged at the Wash & Fold minimum.
- Clothes are washed at 30°C and tumble-dried at medium heat. Ironing is not included.
- Colours are separated into lights and darks, but we accept no liability for colour transfer.
- Laundry is tagged by load, not individually.
10. Pricing & Payment
- Prices are displayed on our website or app at the time of Order.
- Prices may change but not for confirmed Orders.
- Minimum Order value: £20.00.
- Payments are made by card, PayPal, or approved methods at checkout.
- If payment fails, we may charge interest (3% above Barclays Bank base rate).
11. Liability
- Compensation for lost/damaged Items follows Textile Services Association (TSA) Fair Compensation Guidelines.
- Maximum liability: £50 per Item (with proof of purchase).
- We are not liable for:
- Normal wear and tear, shrinkage, or colour fading.
- Damage to buttons, zips, or embellishments.
- Items valued above £250 unless declared before collection.
- Business-related losses (e.g., lost profits).
12. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, transport issues, strikes, or accidents).

14. Use of Personal Information
We use your personal data to:
- Provide Services.
- Process payments.
- Contact you with updates and promotions (unsubscribe anytime).
We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required to provide Services.
15. Quality Guarantee
If you are not satisfied, notify us within 24 hours of delivery. We will re-clean Items free of charge. After 24 hours, re-cleaning is at our discretion.
16. Vouchers & Promotions
- One voucher per Order.
- Minimum Order value with voucher: £20.00.
- Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be resold.
- Expiry dates apply.
17. Prepaid Packages
- Offer discounted bulk rates.
- Non-refundable and valid only for the purchasing account.
- A £20 minimum Order value applies when redeeming.
- Cannot be combined with other offers.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law.
Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts (or, if you live in Northern Ireland or Scotland, you may also bring proceedings there).
